LABELS//design development

< (too much colour//over powers the text)
the type isn't clear enough in order to communicate what the product actually is

<<< I liked the appearance of the stickers more then the actual application of them so I'm going to use the type layout from the sticker designs for the label, making it more clear as to what the products are...

Im a lot happier with how the labels are looking with colour and a more structural type layout (although I will continue to play around with the designs...)

Colour..

playing with this aperture-like design for colour on the designs...

POSTER:

Playing around with the logo and these designs have given me ideas for possible promotional poster designs...

I like how these are looking so I'll definitely look into how these could work for the poster

COLOUR//progress

I want to make the colour more specific to my products and I feel like these designs are working quite well...

^^ similar to a camera aperture

I did this by taking a hexagon, reducing the scale and rotating it along with using the 'actions' button to replay my steps:

DESIGNS//colour

Playing with colour combinations and shapes as a starting point for idea development for the colour on the products...

I'm still experimenting with colour designs but I thought I'd see how these pastel tones would fit onto the product lables:

<< although they work visually, I dont think they fit in in terms of context. I'm looking into how I can make the application of colour more specific to this brief

BOARDS//mock ups

CRIT//final progress crit

After the progress crit I got the feedback I expected and it was concluded that my designs need more colour.

This will make the products a lot more visually appealing.

^^^ I wanted to see how the stickers would sit on the designs so I used illustrator to visualize it. Although I quite like the simplicity of the stickers, I feel like there could be an improvement so I'll keep developing this......
