Dream interpretation cards....
After consideration, i decided to change my final product from a book to cards. This was because i felt that cards keep it clear, simple and to the point. Each interpretation is individual rather then having 100 throughout one book.
This way you get the purity of design, rather then flicking through pages etc
I had already visioned the design of the cards, so here the experimentation is with composition and layout...
First designs:
(excuse the little red boxes...couldn't seem to get rid of them!)
after playing with font, it's definitely very clear that using large, bold text takes away the simplicity of the cards...the image also seems to blend in more, rather then keeping it clear & organised
i'd say the following two designs stay true to my intentions, with clarity and simplicity...
looking at some back designs:
having a black back to the cards will hope help keep the cards that little bit more sophisticated...
this design stood out to me the most and so attention was now payed to font size, style etc
the font i decided on is helvetica neue, light, due to the fact that its delicate, thin, elegant etc and seems to fit in nicely with the card itself...
after experimenting, i feel the following two designs are most suited...
